Job Description

The Executive Assistant will support the CEO and the Board of Commissioners by providing high level administrative support.  Primary support will be provided by managing and maintaining schedules, appointments, and travel arrangements.  This position will act as an extension of the CEO in the operation of the daily needs of the organization.  Will research, prioritize, and follow up on incoming issues and concerns addressed to the CEO and/or Board of Commissioners.  Will handle information in a highly confidential and critical manner.  Will prepare and disseminate correspondence, draft documents and maintain confidential files including up not limited to the Board Packet. Will rrecord and disseminate minutes for various meetings.  Will also act as the Public Records Officer. 

Qualifications

What is required...

  • Associate Degree
  • 5 years of experience supporting Senior Executives
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Visio and Power Point

What is preferred...

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration
  • Previous experience in public sector
  • Understanding of public disclosure requests and/or public meetings
  • Technical writing abilities, able to communicate with a wide-range of audiences

Additional Information

Wage:  Based on years' of applicable experience; starts at $70,000/year

FTE:  1.0 = 40 hours/week, exempt

Schedule: Primarily day shift

Benefit Eligibility:  This position is benefits eligible
