Who is KVH...

KVH is an integrated healthcare delivery system that includes 24-hour emergency care, inpatient, and outpatient hospital services through KVH Hospital. Clinics include family medicine, internal medicine, orthopedics, general surgery, women’s health, workplace health and urgent care. Specialty services provide home health and hospice, physical, speech and occupational therapies, and a geriatric nurse practitioner program.

The Home Health Aide provides patient care based on a written plan and instructions of the Registered Nurse or Physical Therapist in the event that nursing is not required in the care of the patient.  The Home Health Aide provides personal care, simple procedures as an extension of therapy services, ambulation, exercise, household, and shopping services essential to the health care of the patient at home.  The Home Health Aide reports to the Home Care Clinical Coordinator and is supervised in each case by the Registered Nurse or Physical Therapist assigned to the case.

What is required...

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• One year of recent experience as a nursing assistant in a Medical/Surgical Unit or long-term care facility
• Basic Nursing Assistant class; current Washington State NAC license
• Current CPR card (maintenance required)
• Must have a current Washington State driver's license
• Must have automobile liability insurance
• Must have access to a reliable car for transportation to patient homes

Wage:  Starting wage is $13.29/hour + 15% premium (in lieu of benefits).  Actual starting wage will be determined based on years of applicable experience. 

FTE:  Per Diem; variable shifts
