KVH is an integrated healthcare delivery system that includes 24-hour emergency care, inpatient, and outpatient hospital services through KVH Hospital. Clinics include family medicine, internal medicine, orthopedics, general surgery, women’s health, workplace health and urgent care. Specialty services provide home health and hospice, physical, speech and occupational therapies, and a geriatric nurse practitioner program.

To perform as a health team member committed to the nutritional care of patients and quality meals for café customers.  Assembles and serves all cold foods for patient trays, makes and serves cafeteria cold foods and hot beverages, performs cashier duties.  Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of all work areas.  This position is represented by the Teamsters Union which requires a $200.00 initiation fee upon hire, monthly dues which are variable dependent on job wage rates, and no option for 15% addition to the wage in lieu of benefits.

What is required...

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Current state-certified food handlers permit

What is preferred...

• Serv-Safe Certification through the National Restaurant Association
• Previous food service experience

Wage:  Starting wage is $11.63/hour; actual starting wage will be determined based on years of applicable experience. 

FTE:  Per diem; variable shifts to fill in for sick/vacation/holidays
