Job Description

The Buyer is responsible for the timely, cost-effective purchase and on-time delivery of a wide variety of supplies, equipment, and services identified by KVH.  Maintains storeroom inventory levels and orders accordingly and maintains the Materials Management database. 

Qualifications

What is required...

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of purchasing and inventory experience

What is preferred...

  • One year of college or business training
  • 2-5 years in hospital Materials Management department or other related purchasing experience

Additional Information

Wage:  Starting wage is $15.30/hour; actual wage will be determined based on years' of applicable experience

FTE:  .5 = 20 hours/week
