Participate in the care of women with obstetric and gynecologic needs, including labor, delivery and post-partum care in collaboration with the practicing physician.  Ensures the safety and health of mother and fetus and identifies the need for additional care.  Relies on experience and judgement to plan and accomplish goals.

• Graduate of an accredited program of nurse midwifery approved by the American College of
  Nurse-Midwives Certification Council (ACNM);

• Currently licensed in the State of Washington as an Advanced Registered Nurse Practioner
  in the nurse-midwifery category;

• Current CNM certification according to the requirements of ACNM (maintenance required);

• Current CPR card (maintenance required);

• NRP within 6 months of hire (maintenance required);
