Job Description
KIOXIA America Inc. is looking for a Demand Planner for our Business Operations team. As a member of the SSD Business Unit (BU) team, you will manage the demand planning activities and work closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Customer Service teams to ensure that operational metrics on demand forecasting, delivery and inventory are achieved. The winning candidate will demonstrate strong interpersonal and excellent communication skills, with a proactive, positive approach to problem solving, as well as, attention to detail while never losing sight of the big picture.
This role will report to the Manager of SSD Planning and Business Operations.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the demand planning process for assigned strategic customers.
- Participate in customer meetings by presenting supply plans & demand forecasts, updating delivery schedules and coordinate responses to action items.
- Partner with headquarters team in weekly planning meetings to clearly communicate demand changes, confirm supply plans and review customer action items.
- Provide weekly reporting analysis by collecting all data relevant to creating the revenue plan (backlog, lead times, product lifecycle, historical sales, market trends, sales forecast).
- Engage senior leaders in meetings and presentations with consensus revenue forecast, KPI metrics as well as risks and opportunities within the S&OP cycle.
- Perform data analysis and reporting for selected key inventory metrics such as ending on hand (EOH), days of supply (DOS) targets, and aging inventory disposition plans.
- Responsible for the execution of operational and revenue related activities.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvements to business processes.
- Drive root cause/corrective actions to improve business performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree and 3-5 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and related business experience.
- 2-3 years’ experience in customer facing roles within demand planning, supply chain, procurement, or account management required, semiconductor industry preferred.
- Proficient in Excel required, advanced a strong plus.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate issues, ideas and solutions.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills with the ability to clearly communicate assumptions, risks, and opportunities in logical models.
- Demonstrated ability to handle ambiguity, changing priorities and business volatility.
- Solid State Drive Storage industry experience a strong plus

The expected salary for this position is $79,172.00 - 126,724.00.
