Job Description
KIOXIA America, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Product Marketing Manager to develop and grow our SSD business in the client and data center customer segments. This position requires a unique blend of analytical, technical, and marketing skills. Not only will you coordinate internally with many cross-functional teams to reach critical business decisions on product strategy, pricing strategy, and budget modeling, but you will promote KIOXIA SSDs and our brand directly to end customers through direct engagements and strategic marketing initiatives. Account coverage will include the largest US based personal computing (PC) companies, as well as a subset of US based data center and channel customers, with the opportunity to grow over time to cover additional accounts.
You will drive and manage account strategy at both a tactical and strategic level while working closely with customers, sales, product managers, technical marketing, business ops, and other cross-functional teams. This is a complex job that requires exceptional attention to detail, multi-tasking capabilities, and the ability to follow through on initiatives with many internal teams, from the business development stage until a design win is completed and turned into revenue. This position provides an excellent opportunity to manage a dynamic business, utilize your data analytics capabilities, and hone your presentation skills in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Responsibilities:
- Account Strategy
- Help shape the overall PC OEM segment strategy, managing complex business engagements across all stakeholders
- Outline and develop account strategies together with the sales team and business operations teams to grow revenue at data center and channel customers
- Business Management
- Develop sales target forecasts, monitor weekly forecasts, and develop recovery plans to ensure budget achievement
- Develop and manage customer and sales quarterly business review logistics/materials, manage RFQ/RFI responses, and contractual agreements (NDAs, CPAs, etc.) with customers and internal teams
- Develop and manage account specific pricing strategies, business cases, and pricing response to customers
- Sales Enablement
- Drive design win activities and monitor weekly progress
- Manage new customer onboarding process and sales enablement activities for data center and channel customers
- Provide marketing direction for development of technical whitepapers and collateral to be used for promoting KIOXIA SSDs
- Market Analysis
- Analyze data from internal and external sources to create internal models on pricing, supply vs. demand, and product trends, and build/maintain customer facing material to be presented in key customer meetings
Qualifications
- BA/BS/MS degree in Engineering, Business and/or Product Marketing
- Multiple degrees in both Engineering and Business/Marketing disciplines preferred
- 5+ years minimum in related field
- Must be very proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, with strong data analytics and presentation skills
- Requires related experience in Technical Product Marketing in a technical field is preferred (ideally in an industry closely related to data storage)

The expected salary for this position is $111,382 - $183,768
