Job Description
KIOXIA America, Inc. is seeking a Contracts Administrator to assist the Contracts Team in the Legal Department. KIOXIA’s Contract Administrator will be part of a team that is responsible for coordinating legal review of contracts, provides contract consultation and insights, and tracking the life-cycle of contracts from initial request to archiving. This role is suited for someone with a keen eye for detail, aptitude for learning quickly, perseverance in managing multiple priorities flawlessly with minimal guidance, and who enjoys working in a team environment.
Responsibilities:
- From cradle-to-grave, administers the workflow of contracts throughout multi-functional teams from inception through to final release and distribution.
- Negotiates and drafts a wide variety of agreements/contracts/letters.
- Proactively maintains processes and ensures adherence of policies and contract compliance between the Legal Department and other Business Units.
- Continuously seeks opportunities and makes recommendations of improvements for the Contracts Administration capability.
- Reviews contracts for ambiguities or other issues; suggests alternative language to address such concerns.
- Assists Purchasing Department with processing PRs/POs.
- Maintains contract database and physical files.
- Provides high-level technical guidance to Legal Team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred, with a demonstrated ability in critical thinking and organization.
- Paralegal certificate or minimum of 3 years of contract drafting/negotiation (including key areas of reviewing software licenses, purchasing agreements, and SOWs) preferred
- Superb communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Word (document creation, redlining), Excel (including formula creation), Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Corporate Record web searching.
