Job Description

KIOXIA America Inc, formerly known as Toshiba Memory America Inc, is currently looking for a Technical Product Manager to own Technical Product Management and Technical Marketing responsibilities for KIOXIA’s product line of enterprise SSDs. The TPM will work closely with Product Line Management and Engineering to lead the definition of KIOXIA’s next-generation Solid State Drives (SSDs) for enterprise server and storage applications. The TPM will evangelize the technology and benefits of KIOXIA enterprise SSDs to drive customer awareness and adoption of KIOXIA’s SSDs. The TPM will provide world-class technical marketing support to KIOXIA customers and internal cross-functional teams. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Shape next-generation product requirements based on customers’ requirements documents, competitive analysis, and market research, and create product MRDs (Marketing Requirements Documents) and negotiate PRDs (Product Requirements Documents) with Engineering
  • Create and present compelling marketing collateral which showcases the technology and benefits of KIOXIA enterprise SSDs
  • Lead discussions on future technologies with customers to ensure alignment between KIOXIA’s and customers’ product and technology roadmaps
  • Drive technical responses to customer inquiries and requests, including customer RFIs and RFQs, specification gap analyses, and technical deep dives
  • Provide exceptional marketing and technical support to external customers and internal cross-functional teams such as product marketing, product planning, product development, customer support, and sales

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or comparable scientific field   
  • 6+ years in Engineering, Product Management, and/or Technical Marketing, preferably in the computing, storage, or semiconductor industry
  • Expertise with SSD’s and storage-related technologies, including PCIe, NVMe, SAS, and NAND Flash memory desirable
  • Strong understanding of enterprise computing and storage hardware and software
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Ability to work well autonomously and within diverse, multi-cultural teams
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment
