Job Description

As Warranty Administrator, the incumbent is responsible for the following:

Providing Great Customer Service through after possession care in resolving warranty issues with existing boat owners/dealers in a professional and courteous manner:

  • Responding to Warranty related emails
  • Answering Warranty related phone calls
  • Process warranty claims
  • Create walkthru deficiency list
  • Track and follow up with outstanding work orders
  • Coordinate and track repairs

Providing the Warranty and Technical with administrative support including updating and maintaining various schedules and warranty files:

  • Assist in compilation/creation of warranty file upon possession
  • Notify Operations Teams for service work

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 2 years of customer service experience
  • Familiarity with marine/boat terminology is an asset
  • Computer literate
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Well-developed organization and planning skills
  • Good negotiating skills
  • Proven ability to work in a team
  • Customer service orientation
  • Numbers oriented, with good attention to detail
