Job Description

  • Supports organisation staffing by implementing and maintaining a recruitment, testing and interviewing programme for Apprentices, collaborating with managers on candidate selection. 
  • Supports employee assimilation by conducting and co-ordinating new employee orientation and training programmes, ensuring applicability. Maintains associated records and reports metrics.
  • Monitor and book mandatory training certification as required. Liaise with training providers regarding funding and course availability.
  • Supports ongoing Apprentice Programme by maintaining attendance and completion records, scheduling college phases in collaboration with managers and apprentices.
  • Coordinates through the HR team, new employee contracts of employment.
  • Collects and maintains qualification data.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing professional networks.
  • Monitors Apprentice attendance data, sickness absence data and employee annual leave records, reporting associated metrics.
  • Create and maintain company document management system as appropriate to role.
  • Comply with all EHSQ policies and procedures as required.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience within an busy Admin department (Desirable, finance or HR)
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills.
  • High organisational skills.

This role is a 12 month Maternity cover position.
