Here at Kinetics Noise Control, Inc., we have extensive experience designing and manufacturing innovative products to control noise and vibration. Established in 1958 as industrial consultants focused on controlling sound and vibration, Kinetics now produces the industry’s largest selection of innovative products and solutions to control airborne noise, isolate structure-borne vibration, enhance room acoustics, create quiet spaces, and restrain non-structural building systems.

We are looking to fill Assembly Specialist positions in our manufacturing facility. We are looking for dependable, motivated individuals to work on our Oceanside, California location. No experience? No problem! We will train the right candidates!

As Assembly Specialist you will ensure fabrication of parts are completed correctly and corresponds with the engineering print.

Daily tasks include:

·         Assembly

·         Stock Shelves/warehouse

·         Metal fabrication

·         Cleaning/Painting parts

·         Saw operations, to include pallets

·         Run various other equipment

·         Shipping/Receiving activities as necessary

Qualifications:

·         No previous experience required on the equipment.

·         Must be able to read, speak and understand English at a fluent level.

·         High school diploma or GED required.

·         Must have the ability to read engineering drawings and bill of materials.

·         Must be able to work in our manufacturing plant located in Oceanside, CA.

·         Must have excellent attendance.

·         May be required to work overtime (as needed)

·         Must be able to operate a computerized panel saw, hydraulic molding press and other various equipment.

·         Must be able to operate a forklift and/or truck motor.

·         Ability to use hand and power tools such as table saw, circular saw, pneumatic nail  and staple gun.

·         Strong math, measurements and calculations knowledge; including the ability to read a measuring tape in 1/16” increments

·         Must be able to pass our pre-employment drug testing.

·         Prior forklift experience a plus, but will provided training.

PRE-EMPLOYMENT DRUG TESTING REQUIRED

Physical requirements:

·         Frequent standing, walking, lifting, bending, reaching, grabbing, pulling, carrying, and twisting

·         Moderate to heavy physical activity such as walking and lifting is required on a daily basis (up to 70 lbs.)

Hours and Pay:

·         This is a first shift position - hours are 6:30am to 3:00 pm Monday thru Friday. Must have the ability to work overtime as needed. Starting rate is up to $20/hr.
