Job Description

We are seeking a Business Development Lead, US to join our growing global organization!

This is a unique opportunity to build the US territory for a global organization with offices in the US, UK, South Africa, India, and Canada. As the Business Development Lead you will be “starting up” the US market with the support of an established 23+ year old organization. The Business Development Lead will sell marketing & creative interim talent solutions to Enterprise (F1000) organizations. This will require the Business Development Lead to handle the entire sales process from lead generation through closing the deal to growing the account after the initial sale. Kindred’s global team will work with the Business Development Lead to design solutions for prospects, and will handle delivery of programs to clients.

What you will do: 

  • Sales planning: Develop a business development playbook' for the territory that informs a highly focused and effective direct selling plan and framework for new client engagement.
  • Direct selling: Execute the sales program by advancing opportunities through the sales cycle while collaborating closely with service line leadership on pursuit plans and solution design. 
  • Sales marketing: Identify opportunities to build a network and generate leads that create an in-territory pipeline of qualified opportunities while maintaining a sound understanding of the group sales marketing function. 
  • Client experience management: Lead or support an impeccable client experience through the client lifecycle, ensuring our Company is their favorite vendor across all services and not just our category. 
  • Sales cadence and reporting: Ensure accurate client intelligence, sales, and opportunity forecasting and reporting in commercial and non-commercial metrics.


  • Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
  • Primary: staffing or recruitment services in the marketing and creative niche, or general or other niche segments is required.
    • Secondary: B2B sales experience in professional services.
  • 5-10 years of sales or business development experience, with 5-8 years selling services into F1000).
  • Ability to source leads and convert prospects to clients
  • Sales Management track record of successfully closing new business
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Ability to challenge traditional approaches and look for new ways to solve client business issues
  • Innovative, initiative-taking, teamwork, team coaching, competitiveness, strategic thinking
  • Ability to build strong relationships
  • Demonstrated presentation sales and influencing skills
  • Demonstrated success working collaboratively to achieve team goals
  • Experience using a leading sales CRM platform
  • Proficient knowledge of LinkedIn's search capabilities
  • Quality, client centric, accountability.

Additional Information

  • Position is 100% remote, the successful candidate can be based anywhere in USA and will work remotely. ET/CT preferred.
