About the role:

We are seeking a customer service professional to work on our Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP), an entry-level program designed to help elderly people stay independent and in their homes for as long as possible. You will engage with our potential customers over the phone by conducting brief assessments, reviewing customer needs, onboarding them into the business.

This role can be based in either Melbourne, Adelaide or Hobart.

You will be comfortable managing high call volumes, customer issues and finding solutions to unexpected challenges that arise.

Other key responsibilities include:

  • Liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure our customer's individual care plans and services are accurately followed.
  • Coordinating customer assessments and appointments in a fast-paced environment.
  • Managing a customer database whilst developing relationships with customers.
  • Actively seek opportunities to support business growth and maximise service hours by keeping customers well informed of our products and services.

About you:

  • Ideally, you will have experience working in aged care or community services industry (CHSP knowledge would be a strong advantage).
  • Attention to detail, strong time management skills, and confidence in using computer systems to an advanced level.
  • Previous customer service and service coordination experience.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills, particularly over the phone.
  • A professional, friendly and clear phone manner.
  • Strong empathy and influencing skills.
  • A positive problem-solver with a passion for helping people.
