Job Description
Kimball Midwest is searching for New Product Buyer in our Columbus, OH location. We are looking for a driven, hardworking and motivated individual who is willing to learn and grow with Kimball Midwest.
Did you take your mechanical toys apart when you were younger just to figure out how they worked?
Are you interested in finding better ways to do things?
Do you consider yourself as mechanically inclined?
Are you interested in gadgets and working with your hands?

The New Product Buyer will be responsible for: identifying and researching new products; generating new product sales; providing excellent customer service and product support to the field sales reps; reviewing non-stock purchasing activity to identify products that should be in our line and updating the Company website for the new products.
Qualifications
Our Ideal Candidate:
- Has a four year BS/BA degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Physical Science or related field or equivalent work experience.
- Requires working knowledge of an expeditor’s role in distribution of aftermarket products to industrial, automotive, fleet, construction, commercial, institutional and government markets.
- Has significant computer literacy, including Microsoft Office and knowledge of desktop publishing. Experience using Microsoft Dynamics AX a plus.
- Is willing to learn and understand how our products work and are applied.
- Is highly self-motivated and driven to exceed expectations.
- Can effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
