Job Description

Kimball Midwest, an industrial distribution center, is looking for an energetic employee to work full time in our Columbus distribution center.

General Responsibilities for the 2nd Shift Floor Lead:

  1. Performs the day to day operations of maintaining the accuracy of the bulk and primary warehouse inventory by use of scanners.
  2. Transfers merchandise between bulk warehouse –receiving dept.-packing dept.-hose dept.-asst. dept. to the primary location by the use of a scanner for all transactions in a timely manner.
  3. Oversees the stocking of replenishment orders.
  4. Maintains the quality of the product and the quality of the stock boxes on the shelves.

Qualifications

  1. This position requires the ability to read and write small letters and numbers; the ability to make arithmetic calculations; and the ability to understand written and oral instructions.
  2. This position requires the ability to concentrate and to communicate with management and co-workers.
  3. This position requires the ability to follow oral and written instructions.
  4. This position requires the ability to lift objects weighing sixty (60) pounds.
  5. This position requires the successful completion of a ninety (90) day orientation period.
  6. This position requires the use of hand held scanners to move product electronically throughout the warehouse facility.

Additional Information

Hours are Monday-Friday  2:00pm- 11:00pm

$1.00 Shift differential
