KidzArt is an extraordinary fine arts education program with curriculum that meets and exceeds the National Standards for Visual Arts, and is based on the concept that drawing builds confidence.

We also have classes for adults held in our studio. This position is for instructors looking to teach adult paint & sip classes and adult parties.

Fun, creative art business looking for energetic artists with teaching experience to work in an exciting environment!  You will guide classes of 10- 35 people in various art projects including acrylic painting and drawing. We provide a PARTY atmosphere, and you are the host.  You will work with groups of adults, children or families on evenings and weekends.  

The ideal person for this job will be reliable with an outgoing personality, art skills and teaching experience.

Responsibilities include:

Set up/clean up for class

Checking in customers and reconciling payment and attendance

Leading a class in an ENERGETIC, CLEAR and WELL-PACED MANNER

Encouraging creativity and a mistake-free, FUN atmosphere

Working Mobile and Off-Site Events at schools and hosting in-home parties.

Required Skills/Abilities:

Ability to execute quality, acrylic paintings in various painting styles as well as other mediums

Public Speaking (comfortable in front of a group using a microphone)

Ability to be entertaining and upbeat

Time management and communication skills

MUST BE RELIABLE AND AVAILABLE NIGHTS AND WEEKENDS

This is a part-time position with a probationary period. While our schedule is flexible, we still have policies and procedures that must be followed.

Preferred Education/Experience:

College Degree in Art or Design related field preferred but NOT mandatory

Experience in customer service

Teaching experience
