About the job:

Along our challenge-full & growth-oriented journey, we are looking for an experienced and talented Business Development Associate. In this role, your main objective will be to develop alliances with local companies to grow KiWi’s merchants base, nurture new and existing B2B2C partners and continuously work on improving our sales channels and operations. The ideal candidate is a creative problem solver at heart who thrives in a team environment and has a talent for high-touch networking, lead generation, and market research. 

Your mission:

  • Own the entire deal process: identify potential Alliances and stakeholders, develop win themes, and produce complete proposals.
  • Execute personalized outreach and book high-value pitch meetings with prospective New Alliances 
  • Lead prospect meetings and work towards converting them to a New Alliance
  • Attend New Alliance meetings led by team members and support in closing the deal
  • Grow both the reach of KiWi and our allies through proactively introducing and executing initiatives that will take KiWi to more merchants efficiently and effectively
  • Nurture current B2B2C Alliances to lead to joint growth
  • Maintain the database using your organizational skills to streamline processes 
  • Identify potential networking opportunities in the Mexican market 
  • Improve and collaborate on the existing sales funnel ensuring that growth objectives are met
  • Contribute to developing new channels that complement the company's growth
  • Collaborate and work effectively with different stakeholders, internal and external
  • Share your knowledge and experience, generate new ideas, to grow and improve KiWi

Qualifications

Your profile:

  • Minimum experience of 3+ years in a business development, growth or sales position in a tech/SaaS company
  • Bachelor's Degree in economic-administrative or engineergin area
  • Experience in an entrepreneurial environment
  • Excellent understanding of the sales funnel and indirect sales channels
  • Focus on results and business growth, with acquisition and retention objectives
  • Ability and willingness to work in a start-up. Understand that KiWi is not a corporation, here we are all interns and CEOs at the same time.
  • Native in Spanish, proficiency in English (written/verbal).
  • A flexible, goal oriented, well-organised and self-started personality with a attention to detail
  • Passionate about your job and a fast-paced, international working environment

  • Previous experiences in fintech and international-scoped product are a plus
