Job Description

We are looking for a Account Executive Jr. to support our growth strategy in Puebla. In this role, you will be responsible for the acquisition of customers (Merchants) through our strategic partners. This will imply traveling across Mexico depending on where our partners are based.

You will be the person who will accompany our partners’ sales force and train them to close a sale. All the way from the first contact, to the training and the sale of our product and services. By visiting prospective merchants with the partner’s salesforce, you will be key for us to achieve our main objective: promoting financial inclusion!

The ideal candidate is a result-driven person who loves to go in the field, teach and coach people, meet new small businesses and is able to constantly improve our sales process.

Your mission:

  • Gain valuable knowledge about KiWi’s product and services and the Fintech industry.
  • Support the Growth team in getting the best results out of our strategic partners.
  • Own the merchant acquisition funnel: through training, pitching, negotiating, closing and after-sale.
  • Grow your role to develop professionally and contribute to the achievement of KiWi results.
  • Report to the CMO and Chief of Staff and record of daily business activities with your superiors.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Ensure correct implementation of B2B2C sales strategy and boost acquisition of new merchants.
  • Build a relationship of trust and be an on-site acquisition expert for our strategic partners.
  • Acquisition of new merchants through our partners by training their salesforce and on your own.
  • Identify needs and opportunities in the market to detect potential client outside of our partners.
  • Provide follow-up and advice to the partner’s salesforce.
  • Ensure the activation of the acquired accounts, promoting transactions and ensuring satisfaction.
  • Daily monitoring of the sales funnel through KiWi’s tools. (Calls, emails, meetings, proposals, etc).
  • Achieve or exceed 100% of the KPIs of the role.

Qualifications

  • 1 year internship/work experience in a Key Account Executive, B2B Sales or contact center position
  • Bachelor's degree in: Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or related
  • Experience in short sales cycles
  • Excellent understanding of the sales funnel
  • Focus on results and business growth, with acquisition and retention objectives
  • Native in Spanish, basic understanding of English
  • Flexible, goal oriented, well-organized and self-started personality with a strong attention to detail
  • Passionate about your job and a fast-paced, international working environment 
  • Willingness to work in startup, have a strong impact and truly make a difference
  • Previous experiences in fintech and international-scoped product are a plus
