Job Description

The primary focus of the role is as an HR generalist. This position involves managing a small portfolio of stakeholders within a small team responsible for the employee life cycle, covering onboarding, employee relations (ER), performance management, and offboarding.

The People & Culture team is still in its early stages within the Australian business. In the initial phase of building up the department, our emphasis will be on strengthening company policies, developing employee benefits and recognition programs, and providing regular training and support to managers.

The year 2024 is shaping up to be an exciting one, with several projects on the horizon. There will be a strong focus on Neurodiversity, Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG), and Training & Development.

Qualifications

You are a seasoned HR generalist with a passion for Training and Development. You enjoy working in close collaboration with your team but equally thrive when working autonomously on major projects. Our team strikes a careful balance, valuing professionalism while fostering a positive and enjoyable work environment. You pride yourself on your work, but you're not one to take life too seriously and don’t mind letting your hair down from time to time.

  • 5+ years in a business-facing HR role with strong employee relations experience
  • A passion for viewing employees as individuals on a journey with a company, looking to provide them with the best experience possible
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Good working knowledge of Australian employment legislation, including modern awards
  • Self Motivated, Organised with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Motivation to join and build a truly world class team
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective stakeholder relationships across all levels of the organisation
  • Strong administrative, planning, time management and organisational skills
  • And of course a passion for all things Video Games!
