Est 1998, and headquartered in Dublin, Keywords now has over 70+ studios located across Europe, North America, South America, and Asia. We provide integrated art production, engineering, audio services, testing, localization, and player support services across 50 languages and 14 game platforms to a blue-chip client base in more than 21 countries.

In early 2021, the Keywords business expanded their global operations across the pacific to the Australian market where we currently employ 200+ staff across our Tantalus Media, Wicked Witch and Mighty Games brands in Melbourne, Brisbane and now Adelaide where we are undergoing exciting growth as we gear up exclusively for AAA game development across various platforms including PlayStation, Xbox, Switch and PC.

Job Description

Having only been around for just over 12 months, the People & Culture team is still very much in its infancy. There is plenty of work to be done but as there has been no precedence set, plenty of opportunity to take part in helping to create a department from the ground up.

Reporting to and working alongside the Australian Head of People & Culture this is a true generalist role with strong focus on genuine business partnering. You will be responsible for the full gamut of the employee life cycle from onboarding, ER, performance management through to offboarding.

Initial focus whilst we are building the department will be around developing company policy as well as development of our employee benefits and recognition programmes, and providing regular support to managers, and employees as a trusted advisor for all HR-related matters across the Australian team.

With 5 studios spread across the country we divide our week between home and the studios in Melbourne (Box Hill and Fitzroy) 1-2 day a week. Working within a globally disperse business relies on clear communication and sometimes odd hours but opens exciting opportunities to work on a wide variety of projects and initiatives both locally and globally.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years in a business-facing HR role
  • Strong Employee relations experience and policy writing
  • A passion for viewing employees as individuals on a journey with a company, looking to provide them with the best experience possible
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Good working knowledge of Australian employment legislation, including modern awards
  • Self Motivated, Organised with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Motivation to join and build a truly world class team
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective stakeholder relationships across all levels of the organisation
  • Strong administrative, planning, time management and organisational skills
  • And of course a passion for all things Video Games!
