With over 70 facilities in 24 countries strategically located in Asia, Australia, the Americas and Europe, Keywords Studios provides integrated art creation, marketing services, game development, testing, localization, audio and player support services across more than 50 languages and 16 games platforms to a blue-chip client base of over 950 clients across the globe.
Job Description
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Front-End / Full-Stack Developer to assist our growing team of enthusiastic and collaborative developers. We specialise in creating tools to accelerate and empower game developers. In particular, our tools assist in automating the build and deployment processes of games creation as well as automated QA testing.
The role of Front-End / Full-Stack Developer at Mighty Build and Test is a technical role where you'll work with our Infrastructure Team and Tools Development Team to manage and present data captured by our automated testing solutions within client-facing dashboards. Additionally, you will work to improve the usability of existing web-based editor tools used by team members to create and manage Automation Scripts running on test instances.

The responsibilities of the Front-End / Full-Stack Developer role at Mighty Build and Test can be broken down into the following core areas:
Development
Work with the Infrastructure and Tools Teams to meet the growing needs of our online interfaces and back-end systems.
Ensure the stability and reliability of Back-End Infrastructure systems.
Develop readable, intuitive frameworks to present game testing reports to our clients - with data captured in the form of Text, Images and Dynamic Media.
Build upon existing dashboard frameworks to ensure that clients can easily browse historical Reports, Build Version Histories, and other script-generated content.
Create frameworks for accessible, human-created information within client-facing dashboards including Project Status Reports, Documentation and other key information.
Design, Develop and Deliver an UX upgrade to internal-facing testing management tools.
Design methods of displaying performance-based testing data captured within discrete areas, levels or segments of a game.
Improve upon the presentation and performance of web-based video streaming systems to ensure internal staff and clients can monitor the behavior of test-instances.
Collaborate with client-management teams to ensure work is fit-for-purpose.
Write and update internal documentation for new features
General
Providing general assistance, guidance and support to all areas of the business by;
Attending Team Weekly Ops and Individual Performance Meetings
Keeping abreast of daily/ weekly departmental priorities
Documenting work done in internal ticketing tools
Assisting with staff training if required
Qualifications
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum two years experience as a Games Back-End Programmer or Front-End / Full-Stack Developer working with:
Cloud-based implementations, integration and optimization
Creating and using modular component project structures
Analytics tracking and logging
Experience creating UX Sketches/Wireframes or Architecture Diagrams
Experience with AWS cloud systems
Ability to work independently
Strong understanding of or experience in Game Development
DESIRABLE SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
SPA based concepts with React/nextJS or similar frameworks
Dynamic print templates
Experience working within a CI/CD environment
Experience working with QA Teams is a bonus
This is a six month contract. Position can be based remote in Australia. Applicants who are non residents without the right to work in Australia will not be considered.
