Job Description

In a nutshell, the Learning & Development Specialist is a key role to bring our people through a unique, exceptional individual and professional experience from the time they start their job at Keyrus MEA all through their career with us. This is an individual contributor role.

Your role will involve:

  • Owning our on-boarding process and ensure that all of the newly hired employees are enrolled, have a mentor and achieve their training paths.
  • Designing and delivering English language training programs.
  • Designing and delivering soft skills training programs for consultants.
  • Developing and maintain the competency mapping of the company.
  • Responsible for our LMS "KLX" Keyrus Learning Experience.
  • Identifying training needs for groups and individual coaching needs related to manager deficiencies on performance management.
  • Providing coaching and advice in the area of performance management
  • Have in place an ongoing tracking training plan to continuously assess, develop and coach our consultants.
  • Building strong relationships with the local employees and managers base to be seen as a trusted, neutral advisor.
  • In partnership with the Head of HR and LTD design Talent Development & Learning initiatives and drives execution utilizing effective project management practices and skills. He/she will be responsible for supporting the design of learning and development activities, communicating tools and resources effectively to the Leadership and ensuring high quality execution and measurement for continuous improvement.
  • Handling day to day employee issues from coaching, team leaders on difficult employee conversations, to performance management.
  • Coach and mentor program participants on an ongoing basis and facilitate small groups on a regular basis.

Qualifications

  • 2-5 years preferably in Learning & Development, English teaching, HR Partnership or Talent development in multinational IT consulting company.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English & French
  • Exceptional relationship building skills in order to gain support and achieve results.
  • Expert command of adult learning principles.
  • Learning evaluation models (Kirkpatrick’s or others)
  • ID models (ADDIE & SAM)
  • Needs analysis
  • Storyboarding & creating lesson plans
  • Creating assessment tools
  • eLearning authoring tools
  • Learning management systems
  • TTT Facilitation
  • Knowledge of performance management content, particularly as it relates to leading and managing others.
  • Strategic thinker who brings solutions to virtually any problems or challenges that come up
  • Automation mindset: you have a natural tendency to eliminate useless tasks and make processes simple.
  • Action orientation and comfortable with very fast pace and rapid change
  • Flexibility to interact with employees at all levels.
  • Relevant IT industry experience is a plus.
