Job Description
Keypath is seeking a Marketing Automation Specialist to join our innovative, highly collaborative Marketing team! This role provides a unique opportunity to leverage automation expertise skills to impact university partners and organizational success.
In this position, you will help execute the automated marketing efforts within the organization. The primary objective of this role is to improve prospect and student journey outcomes by engaging those audiences at optimal points along the journey through the most effective channels, and aligning content and messaging in context with the student goals and interactions. A successful candidate for this role will be well-versed in Salesforce Marketing Cloud, automated technology best practices (email, SMS), and be a data-driven decision maker.
While this role lives in the Customer Experience function within Marketing and reports into the Marketing Automation Manager, a high degree of cross-functional work is expected, so excellent communication and prioritization skills are a must. The role will work closely with key stakeholders in Marketing as well as, IT, Admissions, Student Success, and Customer Experience to identify and deliver opportunities for improved performance and efficiency.
Responsibilities Include, but are not limited to:
- Work directly with the Marketing Automation Manager to execute the marketing automation strategy and roadmap, aligned with business goals and objectives, for Keypath’s university portfolios to improve student lifetime value and increase conversion rates.
- Implement automated campaigns, including A/B testing of customer segments, content, design, and contact strategies.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure campaigns are delivered on time and with high quality.
- Manage the auto-comm. request board and communicate with request owners in a timely manner.
- Address technical difficulties and implement/refine processes to minimize errors and mitigate risk
- Ensure data collection and marketing communications adhere to spam & privacy laws
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Marketing, Communication, Advertising, Business, or related field of study
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a Marketing Automation role
- Proven hands-on experience building, implementing, and maintaining automated workflows
Technical Skills:
- Hands-on experience with marketing automation platforms; preferably direct experience in Salesforce Marketing Cloud
- Experience using CRM software (i.e. Microsoft Dynamics, Salesforce, etc.)
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Adobe Acrobat
- Experience using project management software (i.e. Monday.com, Teamwork, Asana, etc.).

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with SQL for data querying and analysis
- Familiarity with Salesforce Marketing Cloud Einstein features, with the ability to implement and leverage AI models to enhance email marketing strategies
- Experience with Power BI and leveraging data to identify opportunities for optimization
