Job Description

The Role: Placement Specialist

The Placement team at Keypath Education is dedicated to securing clinical placements for students enrolled in specific allied health post-graduate courses.

Placement Specialists are required to research and actively establish relationships with field placement sites through first contact introductions and business development.

In addition, Placement Specialists provide ongoing customer service with field placement sites to ensure a long term, mutually rewarding relationship that yields a quality student experience.

A typical day for a Placement Specialist includes a mix of; researching placement agencies and generating leads, business development, relationship management and administration duties.

This is an incredibly rewarding position where the results you achieve as a Placement Specialist directly affect students.

Qualifications

Who We're Looking For:

  • 3-5 years of successful demonstration of business development and / or sales competencies.
  • Proven success working in a fast paced and target driven environment (individual and team-based targets) is crucial.
  • Problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to pivot and be versatile in your day-to-day work as needed.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to foster ongoing business relationships.
  • Foster a growth mindset and perseverance in a competitive placement landscape.
  • Solid knowledge of or experience working in allied health or social services field directly with or for providers is advantageous.
  • Self-motivated and able to work autonomously, reporting back to a team.
  • Confidence using technology (Microsoft Suite, Records Management or CRM’s), or demonstrated ability to learn quickly.
  • Strong ability to juggle varying timelines, competing priorities and different approaches among stakeholders.
  • Knowledge and experience in the higher education space (desirable)
