We are looking for Developer to lead a development of a custom portal for our client using Microsoft Power Apps portal. The is a contractor position that could lead to other projects.  

The Developer is expected to take a lead role within the team, ensuring that programming best practices are being followed, prioritizing work effectively, addressing production issues in a timely manner, and writing system documentation when required. The successful candidate should have strong communication skills to be effective in both technical and business requirement discussions.

Primary responsibilities include:
•    Design, develop new web components using .NET, SQL , Azure, Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate) and C#
•    Extend SharePoint functionality with app parts, Azure web jobs and application technologies
•    Deploy custom developed applications for Microsoft portals using DevOps
•    Writing and modifying code to build applications and sites based on user requirements
•    Maintain, improve, and integrate Microsoft solutions, including internal and external web sites
•    Plan, lead and execute Portal online, web development tasks
•    Support the development of technical solution documentation and training
•    Ability to provide direction and mentor less experienced teammates
•    Work with project business and system analysts to clarify the requirements and then implement them
•    Participate in code reviews
•    Enforce standards and best practices
•    Participate in Agile SDLC

Min 5 years of experience in the following:

• Extensive experience in the Microsoft Power Platform – MS PowerApps, Power Automate,

• Experience with SharePoint application development, including developing solutions using custom development with .NET, JavaScript, jQuery, HTML5, CSRequired

• Experience to define, architect and implement solutions within SharePoint

• Experience with creating custom forms

Highly Desired Experience with the following:

• Strong experience with SQL Server database development

• Experience with provider hosted apps and SharePoint Framework SPFx

• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies

• Experience with automated builds

• Experience with SharePoint migration third-party tools (i.e Content Matrix,SharePoint Essentials Toolkit, Sharegate, SharePoint Migration
