Basic Qualifications

• Some experience developing software in C# or C++

• Acquiring a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications

• JavaScript, jQuery Experience with development in large, high-volume services and responsive, elegant web UI is beneficial

• HTML5 / CSS experience is a plus

• Experience writing apps for WPF, Silverlight, Windows Store or Windows Phone is a plus

A successful candidate will have the following qualifications:

• Experience building commercial grade software

• Experience programming in C++, C#, Java or HTML5/CSS/JS,  Excellent knowledge of JS a strong plus

• Experience in commercial grade client-side development

• Has an understanding and appreciation for server-side architecture, information architecture (IA), usability, and design

• Enjoys  working in a collaborative environment

• Has a good track record of building robust and well-engineered software

• Part-time working virtually with access to our office in Richmond, VA
