Job Description
What does the role entail?
As an Electrical Project Engineer at KenzFigee, you are responsible for designing, developing, and implementing electrical systems and components for the products in the KenzFigee portfolio. You work closely with colleagues from various disciplines (Software, Hydraulics, Project Management, Service & Production) to successfully complete projects within the specified time and budget.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Designing the electrical systems and specifying the electrical components of all products, ensuring compliance with system requirements and architecture.
- Assessing project requirements and translating them into an integrated design.
- Ensuring compliance of the designs with relevant regulations and preparing the necessary specifications for the customer.
- Producing all necessary deliverables so that our procurement, production, and commissioning can be carried out smoothly, and we can deliver turnkey solutions to our clients.
What does a workday look like?
- You start the day with a team meeting to discuss the progress of ongoing projects.
- You continue designing an electrical system for a new project and specify the required components.
- You consult with the procurement department to ensure that the right materials are ordered and delivered on time.
- You visit the production hall to check if the ordered electrical panel has been built correctly.
- You write a report on the compliance with safety and quality standards for a recently completed project.
Qualifications
What do we ask for?
- You have a completed Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering and at least 3 years of experience, preferably in the maritime, offshore, or industrial sector.
- You are familiar with software tools such as EPLAN.
As a person, you have strong analytical skills and are solution-oriented. You have excellent communication skills and a true can-do mentality.
This role requires a combination of technical knowledge, project management skills, and communication skills to successfully deliver effective and efficient electrical solutions.
