KenzFigee is a well-established lifting, handling, and service specialist of high-end cranes and equipment for the marine, offshore and wind energy industry.  From engineering to service and maintenance: we keep the entire process in our own hands. The office and workshop are located in Zaandam (and remotely in Pernis, Rotterdam). This offers the opportunity to experience the entire process up close, from designing to building the cranes and equipment. This also ensures an ultimate collaboration because it is possible to switch quickly between all departments. With a team of around ninety employees, we are the mechanical engineer of the offshore. As a Junior Project Controller Kenz you are responsible for drawing up a realistic planning in the tender phase, keeping track of the project progress and weekly reporting on the progress of new construction projects in the crane and machine construction for the maritime and offshore industry. In addition you are responsible for monitoring project costs and creating regular reports for management review and conducting new build project invoicing as per contract requirements. The focus of the position is mainly in cost control.

Your tasks include:

• Drawing up feasible project schedules during tender phase and execution phase.
• Coordinating planning related activities between the different departments, Project Management, Engineering, Purchasing and Assembly.
• Reporting the progress of the project on a weekly basis and providing the necessary insights and analyses about critical path and productivity.
• Further supporting the departments through detailed planning and cost time resources planning.
• Monitoring project costs and working with finance in creating management and project reports
• Creating project invoices in line with project contracts

• Minimum technical hbo education;
• Minimum of 1 year work experience in projects with demonstrable affinity with project planning;
• Interested in finance and project management;
• Excellent analytical thinking skills;
• Excellent communication ability;
• Team player, result oriented and thinking in solutions;
• Significant experience in ERP software required
• Knowledge of planning software Primavera P6 and/or Trimergo an advantage
