Job Description

As Crane Operator, your main responsibility is to move, load and unload materials using a crane in the on and offshore business. Your effective and detailed use of the crane makes sure the cargo is managed according to customer standards. Your ability to detect flaws makes sure that the crane can operate properly after your inspection.  

Your tasks include:  

  • (pre)Inspection of the crane;  
  • Adjusts the machine settings to complete specific crane tasks;  
  • Operating a crane for lifting, moving and positioning of small and big materials; 
  • Observing and securing the load;  
  • Communicating with supervisor about safety concerns;  
  • Performs other duties as required. 

Qualifications

  • Crane operator Certification;  
  •  At least 5 years of experience operating on and offshore cranes;  
  • Ability to lift heavy objects;  
  • Knowledge about the current crane operation protocols;  
  • Ability to communicate with the client;   
  • Preferably familiar with the offshore safety standard and requirements;   
  • Good knowledge of English language in speech and writing;   
  • Team player;   
  • Professional and positive attitude;   
  • Independent and proactive.
