Design Scheduler
Job Description
We are currently working in connection with our award winning Client to recruit a Design Scheduler for their Newry based business.
Main duties include:
- Assist the design team in the management, quantifying and requisitioning of core materials and approved finishes
- Understand the breakdown and assembly of designed items and to produce job sheets/cutting lists for issue to production
- Ensure that all relevant drawings, CNC and requisition documentation is presented to the Production Department in accordance with the Design SOP
Essential criteria:
- Basic to mid-level AutoCAD capabilities 9proof of level of competency will be required)
- Proven ability to understand/interpret AutoCAD drawings and take precise measurements
- 2-3 years’ experience in a joinery/construction environment
- IT literate, in particular Word, Excel and Outlook
- Strong organisational and communication skills
