Job Description

Hardware Distributors is seeking a skilled locksmith to join our team. The locksmith will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining locks and security systems, as well as duplicating keys. The ideal candidate will have experience working with a variety of locking mechanisms and provide excellent customer service. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, repair, and replace locks and locking systems
  • Cut, duplicate, and key locks
  • Troubleshoot and maintain security hardware
  • Assist customers with lockouts and other locksmith services
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and inventory used

Qualifications

  • North Carolina Locksmithing License Required 
  • Proven experience as a locksmith
  • Knowledge of various lock types and security systems
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently

Hours: Standard business hours are 8am-5pm
