Job Description
- Responsible for the architecture, design, development, and validation of high-speed digital hardware systems used in advanced products such as video cameras, professional audio systems, embedded AI devices, advanced industrial systems, drones & aerospace applications and MedTech electronics.
- Design and develop complex high-speed digital circuits, including high-speed interfaces (e.g., PCIe, USB 3.x, Gigabit Ethernet, MIPI CSI-2, DDR 4/5).
- Integrate AI accelerators, NPUs, GPUs, or FPGAs, optimize memory bandwidth and compute pipelines, support hardware acceleration for vision inference.
- Perform detailed circuit dimensioning and analysis including signal and power integrity, EMC simulations, using EDA software tools to verify performance and optimize designs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, mechanical engineers, and test engineers.
- Creation of all relevant Technical Product Documentation, such as specifications, schematics, study reports, test scripts and design descriptions.
- Conduct thorough testing and validation of hardware designs.
- Troubleshoot and debug hardware issues.
What distinguishes you:
- Proficiency in electronic hardware architectures for real-time embedded systems, including SoCs, microprocessors, GPUs, FPGAs, Gigabit Ethernet and High-speed memories.
- Solid experience with high frequency oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, vector network analyzer and spectrum analyzers.
- In-depth knowledge of common hardware and software interface and communication protocols such as Ethernet, WiFi, USB, Bluetooth, RFID, MIPI CSI-2, DDRx, and PCIe.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends.
Qualifications
- MSc or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering.
- 7+ years of experience in electronic hardware design, with a strong focus on high-speed digital circuits.
- Proficiency in circuit simulation tools.
- Strong understanding of signal integrity and power integrity concepts.
- Experience with high-speed interface design and testing.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory compliance (e.g., EMC).
- Experience in MedTech and/or aerospace industries is highly valued.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
