In 1982, the founders of Kaw Valley Engineering set out to build a firm that could provide a full range of consulting engineering services. For more than 35 years, our success has been evident as more than 130 employees in six offices continue to provide civil engineering, survey, geotechnical engineering, and construction phase testing and observation services throughout the Midwest.

• Kaw Valley Engineering, inc. provides a paid summer internship program for college students interested in civil engineering, geotechnical engineering, surveying and/or materials testings. The internship program is well-suited for students who would like to gain real-world, hands-on experience in the A/E/C industry.
• Our interns gain experience in civil design, materials testing, surveying and drafting, and are exposed to a wide variety of engineering responsibilities.  They will be mentored by and will work alongside orther leaders within their specified location.  The program may include construction site visits, educational seminars and company social events. Programs vary from office to office.

Students currently pursuing or interested in pursuing a degree in civil engineering or geotechnical engineering.
