Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Design electrical and/or power electronics circuitry for Premium CT Hardware either on NPI products or maintenance of installed base.
- Drives and is accountable for operational excellence of assigned designs, projects and rigor, with duties including design, project reviews, feasibility analysis, cost benefit analysis, prioritization, resourcing, initiation, execution and closure.
- Drive the development of prototypes, performance testing and design documentation.
- Capture electrical design schematic using an ECAD system.
- Review and approve layout done on the ECAD system.
- Develop innovative designs to meet all requirements for performance, reliability, cost and manufacturability.
Requirements:
- Master's or PHD degree in Electrical Engineering.
- BS in Electrical Engineering and 5 years of industry electrical engineering experience.
- 5 years of industry experience in circuit design.
- Knowledge of standard schematic practices, product structuring, electronics modeling, and engineering analysis techniques.
- Knowledge of integrated circuit design, control system design, programming, simulation & test.
- Good understanding of circuit/circuit board design both analog and digital.
- Familiarity with digital electronics, switches and flux capacitor.
- Strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to document, plan, market, and execute projects/programs.
- Ability to multi-task, both on projects within the electrical team and within the greater hardware team.
