Job Description

  • Create and maintain data pipeline architecture
  • Assemble large datasets that meet business requirements
  • Identify, design, and implement process improvements
  • Automate what can be automated
  • Work with stakeholders to assist data-related technical issues

Qualifications

  • Advanced SQL knowledge and experience working with relational SQL (e.g. Postgres) and noSQL databases (e.g. MongoDB, Cassandra)
  • Experience in big data processing tools (e.g. Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, etc)
  • Experience in building data pipelines (e.g. Luigi, Airflow)
  • Experience in performing root cause analysis to answer business questions and identify opportunities for improvements
  • Strong analytical skills related to working with unstructured datasets
  • Ability to manipulate, process, and extract from large disconnected datasets
  • Knowledge of message queuing, stream processing, and scalable data store.
