Job Description

  • Lead cross-functional Operational Excellence and Continuous Improvement projects from opportunity identification through implementation, benefit realisation and sustainment.
  • Identify and prioritise improvement opportunities using performance analysis, value stream mapping, root cause analysis and structured problem-solving.
  • Act as a change agent driving enterprise-wide performance improvement and organisational transformation through Operational Excellence initiatives, supporting the company's transformation agenda.
  • Apply Lean, Six Sigma and Kaizen methodologies to improve productivity, quality, cost efficiency, service delivery and organisational agility.
  • Define KPIs, monitor project performance and ensure measurable benefits are tracked, validated with Finance and embedded by process owners.
  • Drive stakeholder alignment, change management, communication, training and coaching to support the adoption of new and standardised ways of working.
  • Collaborate with business leaders, functional teams and the OPEX Community to share best practices, build Continuous Improvement capabilities and provide clear updates to senior leadership.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
  • At least five years of experience in Continuous Improvement, Operational Excellence or a comparable transformation role, including cross-functional project leadership.
  • Strong knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, structured problem-solving, performance management and KPI design.
  • Strong project and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate complex operational challenges into clear actions, business cases and implementation plans.
  • Analytical, hands-on and results-oriented approach, combined with strong facilitation, communication and change management capabilities.
  • Fluent English is required; German, advanced Excel skills and Lean Six Sigma, PMP, ERP, process-mining or workflow-tool experience are advantageous.
