Job Description
- Member of the unit management team and deputy for related functional areas.
- Contribute to defining and implementing departmental strategy and represent the engineering function externally.
- Lead and manage a multidisciplinary engineering team, providing technical and disciplinary leadership, training, and resource optimization.
- Support project execution and tendering activities while ensuring active participation of team members in project work.
- Ensure timely delivery of engineering systems, components, and project deliverables within budget and quality standards.
- Monitor budgets, costs, and resource allocation, taking corrective actions when required.
- Drive employee development through hiring, coaching, mentoring, training, and career planning.
- Ensure compliance with HSE requirements, business processes, standards, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Several years of engineering experience, including strong expertise in plant engineering and project execution.
- Proven experience managing diverse organizational functions and leading multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to build long-term collaboration internally and externally.
- Ability to evaluate complex operational scenarios, make informed decisions independently, and apply advanced problem-solving methodologies.
- Extensive knowledge of engineering, manufacturing, assembly, commissioning, products, suppliers, and market dynamics.
- Strong business and commercial acumen with high cost awareness across the value chain.
- Proficient in project management, MS Office, and project management tools with a systematic and entrepreneurial mindset.
- Excellent English communication skills, high autonomy, prioritization ability, and strong quality assurance capabilities.
