Job Description
As a Customs & Trade Compliance Specialist, you will be part of our Global Customs & Trade Compliance Team. In this role, you will support the implementation and continuous development of our global compliance program and ensure adherence to all relevant customs and international trade regulations.
Your Responsibilities
- Ensure smooth and efficient customs processes in compliance with applicable customs and foreign trade regulations
- Coordinate the classification process between Engineering, suppliers, and customs brokers
- Collect and review technical data for the tariff classification of parts, equipment, and systems
- Maintain and update tariff numbers in relevant systems
- Perform annual updates of newly published tariff data
- Support Trade Compliance Managers and the Global Customs Manager in day-to-day operations
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners
- Contribute to small and medium-sized IT improvement projects (e.g. ERP system IFS, trade compliance software, and master data initiatives)
- Support the continuous improvement of customs and trade compliance processes
Qualifications
Your Profile
- 5–7 years of experience in Trade Compliance, customs regulations, or import/export
- Certification as a Certified Customs Specialist (CCS), Certified Export Specialist (CES), or a comparable qualification
- Strong understanding of international trade and foreign trade regulations
- Affinity for IT systems, ideally with experience as a key user in ERP environments
- Experience in implementing external trade compliance or customs software is an advantage
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for data analysis and reporting
- Fluent in English; German is an advantage

Compensation
Basic wage component (gross): 2300 EUR/month
This amount is our minimum offered salary. Compensation is determined based on your level, skills, experience, and qualifications.
