Job Description

  • Collaborate closely with the local leadership team in identifying, evaluating and mitigating legal risks, reviewing and approving transactions and implementing risk mitigation strategies.
  • Drafting of contracts (customer contracts, project agreements, procurement, subcontracting, supply, private agreements to modify and integrate contracts already concluded, rental agreements).
  • Identify and provide solution-oriented counsel on a variety of day-to-day legal matters including corporate administration matters, internal processes and compliance.
  • Support the data protection team in relation to Italian data protection issues
  • Manage issuance of company guarantees and insurance policies
  • Day to day advisory and general legal support KVI Italia and when required across the KVI Group.

Qualifications

  • Qualified Italian law lawyer with strong academics.
  • 6+ years experience* acquired at an international law firm and/or in-house legal department of an international project company (* considered a guide – experience range flexible).
  • Renewable energy experience considered a plus.
  • Demonstrable experience required in: drafting and negotiating construction and engineering contracts; general corporate and governance matters (company incorporations, filings and company secretarial work); tenders; legal aspects of M&A transactions; claim/dispute management.
  • Willingness to assist with day-to-day legal matters  (e.g. Privacy, HSE, subcontract) relating to Kanadevia Inova’s Italian entities (and across the wider group when required).
  • Fluency in English and Italian (German and French proficiency will be considered a plus).
