Based in our Farnborough office in Hampshire, UK, we are hiring for a Part Qualified Accountant to join our team due to the continued growth of our UK operations.

The following is a non-exhaustive description of some of the typical roles and responsibilities that you would hold day to day in this position;

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, budgets, and forecasts in collaboration with project and cost center managers.
• Upgrade finance processes including monthly closing, forecasting, and budgeting.
• Maintain correct master data in SAP B1 and Tagetik systems and ensure accurate financial reconciliation (balance sheet, intercompany, and timesheet).
• Approve bank payments, freelancers' invoices, and report taxable benefits to HMRC (P11ds, PSA).
• Assist with audit preparation, cover team members during absences, and handle national statistics surveys.

• Experience minimum 5 years in a similar industry (preferably construction of large industrial plants) in controlling, reporting preferably in a project environment.
• Good knowledge in IFRS, UQK GAAP accounting & local taxes,
• Knowledge of ERPs, preferably in SAP / SAP B1 / IFS, excellent knowledge of MS Office (especially MS Excel), Part Qualified (CIMA, ACCA or equivalent) / Qualified by experience
• Soft skills: flexibility, good ability to cope with the pressure, high level of resilience and assertiveness, customer oriented
• Fluency in written and spoken English, clear and effective communication on all levels
