As a Junior Accounting Manager, you’ll play a key role in delivering financial expertise to our small business clients, with a primary focus on tax. This position offers diverse exposure to payroll, bookkeeping, financial statements, tax compliance, and more—all while gaining invaluable experience in the automotive and other industries.
Responsibilities:
Tax Preparation & Compliance: Prepare personal, partnership, and corporate tax returns.
Client Collaboration: Build strong relationships by engaging clients on tax compliance matters, conducting tax projections, and resolving inquiries.
Financial Review: Review financial statements and assist with compilations and reviews.
Research & Reporting: Conduct tax compliance research and assist with responses to taxing authorities.
Team Support: Act as a bridge between Staff Accountants and Managers, ensuring seamless communication and workflow.
Leadership Development: Present on various topics and participate in opportunities for professional growth, with a clear path to the Manager role.
Qualifications
Experience & Qualifications
CPA or EA certification preferred (or willingness to pursue).
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
1–3 years of relevant experience preferred, but all candidates with passion and skills are encouraged to apply.
Proficiency in software like Outlook, Excel, Word, QuickBooks, and tax-related platforms.
Strong organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills.
Enthusiasm to grow in a fast-paced environment with a commitment to continuous improvement.
Interest in advancing to an Account Manager role.
Additional Information
Compensation: Starting at $26.44/hour (depending on experience). Growth potential to transition into a Manager role with commission-based compensation.
