Do you enjoy meeting new people and building relationships? Are you someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment? If so, this opportunity may be for you! We are seeking an experiences insurance sales representative to join our team here at Kaizen Risk Management.

The Insurance Sales Representative will be educated in personal & family insurance, as well as commercial & business owners insurance. You will be expected to handle all aspects of the sales process, including prospecting, setting appointments, developing relationships, creating written proposals and polices, presenting the proposals and policies, and closing the sale. A successful candidate will be able to help make an insurance policy accessible and understandable to their customers in a professional and concise way. 

The successful candidate is self-motivated, self-disciplined, and goal oriented. He or she must demonstrate strong communication skills; in particular strong listening skills with the ability to uncover the real-life challenges the client may be facing personally and/or professionally.

The successful candidate displays an outgoing personality with expertise at developing relationships. He or she must possess a strong results-oriented work ethic and sense of integrity, be professional, upbeat, enthusiastic, dependable, and honest.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of insurance agency experience
  • 2+ years of successful sales experience
  • Licensed in Property & Casualty REQUIRED
  • Extensive knowledge of various insurance products and policies
  • Ability to determine best insurance policy for prospective and current clients
  • Excellent interpersonal and sales skills
  • Ability to identify and contact prospective clients
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
