Job Description

The Growth Marketing Specialist is responsible for the planning, creation and execution of Marketing Collateral and Campaigns for the Dis-Chem and Kaelo retail insurance brands (www.dischemhealth.co.za, www.kaelohealth.co.za and others), with the goal of Growing lead and Customer acquisition, as well as retention.

Briefing and or creating content and collateral including copy for Email, banner, social and affiliate marketing (campaigns). Campaign execution and optimisation, including testing and constant improvements against results.

Understand the UX / UI of the customer journey and bring constant improvements to increase conversion rates.

Innovating in terms of platforms, testing and execution against benchmarks.

KEY OUTCOMES

Content Creation:

Creation of content, including liaison with the copy team for marketing campaigns. Content includes but not limited to: emails, banners, articles and other advertising units

Create and maintain content for multiple marketing campaigns into different audiences and segments. Work closely with the copy writers, internal and external compliance and agency to completion.

Run campaigns on Marketing Automation / CRM platforms:

Largely for acquisition campaigns, but also retention and up-sell campaigns using marketing automation platforms.

Required to become an expert in the ideation, building and execution of campaigns on various marketing automation platforms. Campaigns including marketing into various databases including: Email, SMS and WhatsApp marketing, as well as Retargeting to Google and Social Media.

Testing of different creative, subject lines and tools for the constant optimisation for improvement. Targeting and segmentation will include campaigns to multiple segments.

Work with marketing, and compliance teams to make sure the brand guideline are followed and that the collateral is compliant according to insurance regulation. Work with sales and operational teams to achieve lead generation and sales goals.

Management and optimisation of Websites & Landing pages for Marketing and retargeting campaigns

Ideation, briefing and testing of changes to the current websites, as well as the creation of landing pages for various campaigns with the goals of lead generation, product education and awareness. The optimisation of the landing pages using AB testing and other tools to improve the customer’s journey.

Qualifications

Having run digital marketing campaigns including email, sms, affiliate marketing.

Experience and knowledge in marketing, design, copywriting, and campaign execution.

PREFERRED

Having worked on marketing automation platforms and having built complex automation journeys.

EDUCATION: QUALIFICATIONS: ACCREDITATIONS WITH PROFESSIONAL BODY REQUIRED

Relevant qualification in marketing or advertising.

TECHNICAL SKILLS OR KNOWLEDGE

REQUIRED

·       Microsoft Suite, specifically PowerPoint, Excel and word

·       Marketing software, ideally marketing automation platforms.

ADVANTAGEOUS

·       Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Photoshop, Premiere Pro and Audition

·       WordPress advantageous
