Title : Microsoft Server Analyst

Duration : 12 months (Possible to extend on performance of the Candidate)

Additional Skills:

· The primary responsibility will be to support ITM Technical Operations Solar winds environment for monitoring Summary:

· Responsibilities will include monitor and template creation for servers and applications, report generation, and the setup of application Dashboard views using Solar winds.

· Responsibilities: With direction from the Wintel Lead and direct Supervisor, responsible for the following tasks (but not limited to):

· Setup server and application monitoring.

· Setup application Dashboard views using Solar winds

· Apply system analysis tools and techniques to resolve identified issues.

· Communicate with end users on the status of tickets, in a timely manner.

· · Verifies on a daily basis that backup jobs are completed and takes corrective action when they are not.

· Provides diagnosis for operating systems, software, and product failures.

· 7+ years of experience managing a Windows server environment.

· Strong organizational, written, and oral communication skills.

· Excellent trouble shooting skills with ability to determine the root cause of problems.

· Experience with Microsoft Windows Server 2003, 2008 R2, 2012, and 2012 R2

· Moderate knowledge of server/blade hardware (primarily HP).

· Experience with Linux is a plus.

Associate or Bachelor degree
