Job Description

The Media Analyst will help manage and optimize programmatic advertising for KRT clients. Your goal will be to deliver the best campaign performances (completed applications & cost-per-application) for our clients while still meeting their hiring needs. This will require that you work completely within our dashboards in order to hunt down the greatest ROI. A close working relationship with the media practitioners at KRT will be compulsory. Often times you will collaborate with the media team to fully understand client objectives to ensure campaign investments are properly targeting the right audience.

The right person is economic-minded. They love using data to uncover secrets and trends. The right person can’t sleep until they’ve figured out at least one way to improve advertising performance. They want to be recognized for outstanding work.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, statistics or marketing (MBAs welcomed)
  • Strong Excel skills – ability to pivot (willing to train)
  • Proficient in use of Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
  • One+ year in digital advertising and familiarity of the Pay-per-click advertising model
  • Experience with Google Analytics preferred
  • Self-motivated, self-starter, able to independently execute with minimal supervision in a fast-paced agency environment with rapidly changing priorities
  • Critical thinker that likes to solve problems and create new solutions
  • Strong organizational/time management skills, attention to detail, ability to effectively prioritize and to handle multiple tasks
  • Strong analytical skills; ability to evaluate data, identify trends and effectively summarize information

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist Media Operations Manager in configuring and troubleshooting programmatic advertising campaigns, creating reports, and evaluating campaign performance through data analysis every day
  • Evaluate and analyze client data to optimize campaigns and drive a continual increase in client ROI
  • Report on client campaigns, provide valuable information and synthesize complex information into easy to understand accessible insights
  • Use tech savvy and problem solving skills to identify and troubleshoot issues in a dynamic digital environment
  • Maintain the integrity of tracking and analytics across a variety of media platforms to effectively track ROI
  • Assist with other projects as needed
  • A/B testing of ads from hypothesis generation through data gathering and conclusions
