This role involves managing a portfolio of clients for accounting, tax and other regulatory compliance obligations, along with providing consulting services based on client requirements. The role also involves training and mentoring the team, practice management and related functions.

Candidates must have at least five years of relevant experience in a Chartered Accounting environment and a thorough understanding of Fiji taxation and Companies Act laws.

To be considered for this opportunity, your qualifications, skills and experience should include:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and/or a relevant discipline, including CPA or CA qualification
• Experience and exposure to managing the compilation of financial statements and IFRS for SMEs, and in tax compliance and consulting services
• Ability to apply tax/accounting concepts to business scenarios 
• Proficiency in basic accounting software (Xero or MYOB) is desirable
• Strong numerical and analytical skill set, along with excellent tax and accounting technical / systems capabilities
• Self-starter with strong financial acumen, ability to work under minimum supervision
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal, leadership and business development skills, with the ability to build strong relationships within teams and with clients and stakeholders
• Fiji Institute of Chartered Accounting (FICA) membership, CPA / CA membership preferred
