We’re looking for a Senior Consultant to join our team — someone who is passionate about workplace safety and wellbeing, helping our clients solve real business safety challenges, uplift risk and control environments, and deliver value-add practical inputs that matter.
Your Opportunity
Forming part of the HSW team, this role will play a key role in scoping, execution and reporting for a wide range of client-facing projects covering HSW advisory, risk and control advisory, contract management and performance reviews.
As a Senior Consultant, you will be consulting with clients on how best to design and implement effective health, safety and wellbeing systems, manage risks, and improve organisational performance. You will:
- Work collaboratively with multiple client engagement teams across various sectors to support management system design, physical and psychosocial risk management, audits, critical risk management framework design, contractor management, due diligence, strategy, and culture transformation programs.
- Deliver programs of work to assess and uplift, or provide assurance over health, safety and wellbeing frameworks, systems, risks and controls.
- Provide technical expertise in the delivery of health, safety and wellbeing services.
- Engage with stakeholders to support reporting on engagement outcomes, including delivery of reports and facilitation of forums to discuss engagement results and improvement opportunities.
- Lead junior team members on a day-to-day basis, mentoring and providing professional development.
- Develop strong relationships with clients and stakeholders to support the identification of opportunities for future business.
- Play a role internally within the team, to create a great culture where everyone can perform at their best.

Your Experience

- 2 - 4 years’ experience in work health and safety management systems, risk management or auditing.
- Knowledge of WHS legislation, regulations, standards and codes of practice.
- Experience in industries such infrastructure, government, mining, energy, utilities, and retail.
- Ability to develop clear, concise reports and client deliverables.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience managing tasks, timelines and contributing to project delivery.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in health and safety (Certificate IV in WHS qualification, Diploma of Work Health and Safety or above will be favourably considered).
- Exemplar Global Auditor qualifications (ISO 45001), is desirable.
