- Full-time
Job Description
This is an excellent opportunity for a Transformation Delivery Consultant to join KPMG’s WA Growth - Transformation & Delivery team and play a hands‑on role in supporting complex transformation programs across a diverse range of industries.
Our team partners with organisations to plan, mobilise and deliver large‑scale business and digital transformations. Working alongside experienced transformation leaders, program directors and change specialists, you will contribute to initiatives that translate strategy into execution and deliver measurable outcomes.
We bring deep capability across transformation delivery, program and project management, PMO establishment, governance frameworks, benefits realisation and change enablement. Our work focuses on helping clients navigate complexity, manage interdependencies and align people, processes and technology to successfully embed change and achieve strategic objectives.
Your Opportunity:
Forming part of the Operational Transformation Delivery team, this role will play a key part in:
- Working in small to medium-sized teams of high-performing KPMG professionals to support the planning and execution of transformation projects and programs.
- Reporting to experienced project and program management practitioners and helping to establish, embed and maintain value‑adding governance processes across project, program and portfolio environments.
- Gaining exposure to the full program lifecycle - including design, build, test and release - while assisting with the creation and management of key project documents and processes.
- Assisting in the setup of governance frameworks for transformational programs and supporting the establishment of Project Management Offices (PMOs).
- Supporting communication and stakeholder engagement activities across major programs and operating model initiatives.
- Developing and maintaining program performance and status reporting, providing insights that inform decision‑making.
- Building strong working relationships with a variety of stakeholders and contributing to a cohesive and supportive team environment.
How Are You Extraordinary?
You are someone who:
- Has strong written and verbal communication skills and can analyse complex information, distil insights and present them clearly and succinctly.
- Is familiar with standard project terminology (e.g. design, build, test, release) and understands the fundamentals of project documentation and delivery.
- Builds effective relationships and works collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
- Takes initiative, demonstrates attention to detail and delivers high‑quality work.
- Is committed to continuous development and brings a positive, can‑do mindset to solving problems and improving processes.
Your Experience
You will bring:
- Experience in a project coordination, project support or project advisory role.
- Familiarity with project documentation, governance processes and program lifecycle activities.
- Exposure to PMO environments, transformation programs or stakeholder engagement activities.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to work across multiple priorities.
- The ability to work collaboratively in a team and build strong stakeholder relationships.
Qualifications
- A degree in Business, Commerce, Engineering, Project Management or a related discipline (desirable).
- Certifications or training in project delivery, Agile, Lean or process improvement (PRINCE2, Agile, Lean Six Sigma) are welcomed but not essential.
