About the Role

As a Federal Government Accreditation Specialist in our Tech Risk and Cyber team, you will lead engagements into Fed Gov, Defence and Defence Industry to conduct security assessments, technology risk advisory, and cyber assurance services. You will work closely with government and private sector clients to help them navigate complex regulatory environments and uplift their cyber resilience.

Due to the nature of this role, we are seeking candidates who hold an active NV1 Australian Federal Government Security Clearance. This is a strict eligibility requirement and a minimum criterion to be considered for this position.

Key Responsibilities

· Lead IRAP assessments/Defence accreditaion assessments and provide strategic guidance on ISM and Essential Eight compliance.

· Manage end-to-end delivery of risk assessments, control testing, and remediation planning.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated cyber and tech risk solutions.

· Develop and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor.

About You

· Proven experience in technology risk, cyber security, or assurance consulting.

· IRAP Assessor certification (or eligibility to obtain).

· Defence Security Accreditation experience

· Strong understanding of ISM, Essential Eight, ISO27001, NIST, and other relevant frameworks.

· Experience working with government clients and navigating regulatory requirements.

· Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Qualifications

  • Active NV1 Australian Federal Government Security Clearance is essential
  • Australian Citizenship is required (mandatory) to hold and maintain the clearance
  • Completion of the IRAP course is preferred
